This is the first piece I've finished of a new furniture series I've been working on. I posted a picture of another one that is still in progress a while back. That one is still several months away from completion but having finished this one I'm rather excited to get that one done.

Hmm interesting... I really like the top surface, but for me those legs just dont fit.
I guess they do create an interesting contrast though... anyway, well done it looks great.

Nope. The top is actually a full two inches thick. Only the edges are carved to give the illusion of it being so thin.
