After two failed prototypes of a pawn and deciding to take a break to try a rook, I finally have my finished pawn. Which amazingly only took less than a day to design and build.

The board will be done with 18 gauge wire using European 6-1 linking. Then probably one of the Turkish linking patterns for the boarder. Color wise I'm still unsure though. I originally wanted the other side to be blue, but I can't seem to find blue 20G anodized aluminum wire, so the other side might end up in brass.

Could you cheat and use the coated copper wire? That comes in 20 ga blue.

Heh well that was plan B but the coating makes the wire just a hair thicker and the patterns I've created for the first side end up being to tight and won't fit together.
